Un Dia Como Pocos
Ricardo Andrade
A Day Like Few Others
Today as I peek out the window
I realize it's a day like few others
I could understand this sunrise.
I saw that we were going in circles
Unwilling to get off this carousel
Although suffering is already tiresome
As well as fear and frigidity.
I saw that maybe we were crazier
And we desire that paradise more.
Years flying by
No one wants to believe anymore, lost faith
Hope is dreaming
Of something that can give a reason to exist.
Many tears staining
The innocence of being born if it's to suffer
Although it's in our hands
The reason to make life happy again.
And we fight to have power
And we don't even know what to do with it,
I just ask to see the sun rise
And the sun burns from the radiation.
And maybe we are crazier
And we desire that paradise more.
And there's no time left to argue,
I do it or I try
And I do it for you.
Today as I peek out the window
I realize it's a day like few others
And even though it's the same as all
I never saw it.
