Amor de Padre

Lord, I must not deny all the wrong I have done
I have made mistakes like any human by decisions
Life I have lived beside a beautiful lady
In good times and bad you have helped me and I have not thanked you

But you are kind and have sent an angel from your own kingdom
Who strengthens the bond that we made before an altar out of love
A lovely little girl with a divine face identical to your mother
Reason for my life, my joy, and hope
But you already know God that I have no gold, silver, or wealth

The only thing I have is a poor house that I have built
I am of very low class and in society I mean nothing
And yet you sent this beautiful angel into our path
My girl I will love and care for
She will lack nothing
If one day I did not eat and a father was not here
May she not suffer
Blessed God for giving me
A pair of queens to live for
And if my life has a price, then for them I offer it

My girl I want to see her smile
See her play and watch her grow
She is my inspiration and motivation
To continue life
My God give us strength and health
Of the rest what can I say
My only treasure and strength is to be with them
