Tanto, Tanto

So Much, So Much
One early day I played with time
though it wasn't mine, I felt eternal
I fell asleep, my life slipped away
and I left my chair empty.
And even though time passed and I’m not in a rush anymore
I want to confess that I miss your laughter
so much, so much
So much, so much, so much, my life dimmed so much
that I bit my lips so much
and I’ve lived in the meantime.
That so much, so much, so much, my life passed me by so much
that when I tried to grasp it, even with a long time
there's never time on our side.
One early day I ignored you,
you got sad, you started drifting away
I fell asleep and I’m waking up
now time isn’t mine and I’m searching for you.
And even though time passed and I’m not in a rush anymore
I want to confess that I miss your laughter
so much, oh! so much.
So much, so much, so much, my life dimmed so much
that I bit my lips so much
and I’ve lived in the meantime.
That so much, so much, so much, my life passed me by so much
that when I tried to grasp it, even with a long time
there's never time on my side.
I fell asleep and dreamed I was singing
and time isn’t mine and I’m not searching for you.
So much, so much, so much, my life passed me by so much
that when I tried to grasp it, even with a long time
there's never time on my side.
So much, so much, so much, my life passed me by so much.
