El Mundo Gira Aunque No Estes
Ricardo Montaner
The World Turns Even If You're Not Here
While the night passes slowly
careful four walls look at me
while the paintings lament
because there's no one to talk to them
while one falls asleep
and only conscience works
the storm ignites
and I realize I miss you
while the water flows fresh
and a river of lamentations runs
while the moon makes us sick
and infects us with loneliness
if life isn't perfect
it escapes me and doesn't bother me
Because it feels bad to live if you're not here.
While the world breathes, what more does it matter to me
no matter how the wind blows, I lack air
while you leave, I won't forget you
the world doesn't matter
unfortunately, the world turns even if you're not here
And if my door remains open, it's because it thinks you're going to arrive
I have a party with your music coming from the street
While I rest my sorrows
on the sand of a lonely beach
while the lighthouse lights the cliff
I shout to the stars
while I wait to see what they say
disappearing as dawn breaks
my gaze drowns wrapped in salt
While the world breathes, what more does it matter to me
no matter how the wind blows, I lack air
while you leave, I won't forget you
the world doesn't matter
unfortunately, the world turns even if you're not here
While you leave, I won't forget you
the world doesn't matter
unfortunately, the world turns even if you're not here
And if my door remains open, it's because it thinks you're going to arrive
I have a party with your music coming from the street
And if my door remains open, it's because it thinks you're going to arrive
I have a party with your music coming from the street
