La Chica Del Ascensor

The Girl From The Elevator
She's just another girl, taking the elevator,
from the gray anthill where I work.
Eyes sleepy at work,
every day the same.
I never saw her chat, I never saw her laugh,
yesterday I imagined she noticed me.
She has no name or address,
I don't know where she came from.
Within this maze
of concrete and glass,
somewhere lost
she thinks of me, maybe.
The girl from the elevator
makes my tension rise.
She's a special girl,
a mortal sin,
for my heart.
The girl from the elevator
makes me lose control.
I have to set her free
from her metal prison,
to escape together.
She's not just another girl, she stands out.
She's a reality and a hallucination,
she drives me crazy just as she is,
don't ask why.
Taking the elevator and never getting out,
is my definition of happiness.
Sundays are better left unspoken,
I hate them more and more.
