Parado de manos
Ricardo Montaner
Hands Tied
The scale's tipping out of balance
Between the side that weighs more and the side that holds on
Life's strap put me at a disadvantage
On one side you, and on the other your absence
And I keep wandering, selling my failures
And I keep hurting, crying over your love
Hands tied
Crossing the platform
Bound hand and foot
Gagged by dreams I might have dreamed
And I bit my tongue
And I bleed my heart to the moon
And your absence is winning over forgetfulness
It was hard to find you, impossible to keep you
And yet I’m glad to have known you
On one side it did me good, and on the other it left me cold
And I keep wandering, selling my failures
And I keep hurting, crying for your love
Invalid heart, unhappy
Heart bleeding out until it dies.
