Estrellas en el Suelo
Ricardo Montaner
Stars on the Ground
I used to hide you
My heart as if it wasn't you who placed it in my chest
All my life
Trying to give ballet lessons to the one who made the water dance
I used to hide myself
And I kept going around in circles to tell you no
But you waited for me and waited for me without a clock
For always looking in another direction
I ended up looking for stars on the ground
Looking for someone to heal my pain
But the Sun never rises in the north
I wasn't living
I was just passing through in a silent and tiny space
It wasn't life anymore
Falling didn't hurt me, I didn't feel like I was falling into an abyss
But I was dying
And I kept going around in circles to tell you no
But you waited for me and waited for me without a clock
For always looking in another direction
I ended up looking for stars on the ground
Looking for someone to heal my pain
But the Sun never rises in the north
I used to hide you
My heart as if it wasn't you who placed it in my chest
All my life
Trying to give ballet lessons to the one who made the water dance
I used to hide myself
And I kept going around in circles to tell you no
But you waited for me and waited for me without a clock
For always looking in another direction
I ended up looking for stars on the ground
Looking for someone to heal my pain
But the Sun never rises in the north
