We have gone through need and joy
Hand in hand
From hiking we now rest
Above the quiet land
Valleys around us incline
The air is already darkening
Only two larks still rise
Dreaming into the scent
Come here and let them flutter
It's almost bedtime
So we don't get lost
In this solitude
Oh, further, silent peace!
So deep in the evening glow
How tired we are from wandering--
Is this perhaps death?
