Saudade Pesada
Rick e Renner
Heavy Longing
I travel in the early morning
Giving a ride to loneliness
Portrait of my beloved
Goes on the dashboard of my truck
The headlights, through the mist
Don't compare to her eyes
Longing and passion
Inside my chest, run parallel
The wind embraces my body
As if it were her embrace
I hear the turbine's cry
Announcing the end of coasting
The sun tears through the day
And the tires tear through the road
I step on the accelerator, speeding up the engine
Because the longing is heavy
Ah! At the front door
A lipstick outlines a beautiful smile
Two open arms
And a friendly shoulder, that I need
Heart wanting
To leave the chest and take flight
Ah, I leave the cabin, key in hand
And mission accomplished
I look at the sky, give her a kiss
And thank life
I thank God, because once again
I've returned home
The wind embraces my body
As if it were her embrace
I hear the turbine's cry
Announcing the end of coasting
The sun tears through the day
And the tires tear through the road
I step on the accelerator, speeding up the engine
Because the longing is heavy
Ah! At the front door
A lipstick outlines a beautiful smile
Two open arms
And a friendly shoulder, that I need
Heart wanting
To leave the chest and take flight
Ah! I leave the cabin, key in hand
And mission accomplished
I look at the sky, give her a kiss
And thank life
I thank God, because once again
I've returned home
