Jesus is already coming back
To fetch his church
I want to be prepared
To hear the shout
Of the sound of the last trumpet
I know it will be glorious
To see the sky open
Jesus dressed in white
With thousands of angels
To heaven we will ascend

There I want to see Abraham and Isaac
There I want to see Moses and Aaron
There I want to see Matthew, Philip, James, and John
There I want to see Martha and Mary, Rachel, Anna, and Esther
There I want to see the wise Solomon and the friend Noah
There I want to see Elijah and Elisha
There I want to see David and Haggai
There I want to see Joseph and Jacob and the brother Bartimaeus
There I want to see you my brother
Who fought with courage and faith
But first I want to see my Jesus
Just as He is

I know it will be very sad
For those who don't ascend
There will be much suffering
Anguish and much torment
For those who stay here
Friend who hears me now
Accept Jesus, don't delay
Tomorrow may be too late
Only Jesus has happiness
Let's fly together with Christ
