My Choice
I will no longer live life as I want,
But I will live only for God.
Let God lead my life completely,
And walk in His ways.
It makes no sense to live, if not to worship you,
To be in God at all times.
I make my choice to belong to you,
And follow your precepts.
Constantly contemplate your law,
And serve in your kingdom.
Where would I go, if only in God can I find
Words of eternal life.
Your word, oh God, I have hidden,
Inside my heart.
To not sin against you is why I kept it,
And I will not let go of it.
My greatest good, my wealth,
In it I will meditate.
And I will have light forever on my path,
Wherever I go.

But to worship and love you is why I was born (I was born).
I humble myself to the dust to honor you in devotion.
