Drowning
I will run the risk of drowning for good
Under the weight of my foolishness
No longer able to float
I will be with someone, nose against nose
A drowning missed by a trifle
I will try to rescue myself
The same as always
Every time that love slips the tide out
I get dragged to where I am out of my depth
And is hard to swim
Some other day it happened at last
An angel dolphin, a simple porpoise
Brought me help
I held to that smooth body and was towed away
Its open wide smile guiding me
Then I felt relaxed and let the sea take me
