Aleluia
Roberto Carlos
Hallelujah
When the sun warms in the morning
the Planet Earth where I live,
it doesn't matter where I am,
I look at nature thoughtfully:
The wind ruffles the waters of the ocean;
Surfs through the waves of the song;
Who composes the music of the wind?
And who lit the sun, then?
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
Conclusion of my thoughts.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
In all this is the hand of God.
When the rain falls and wets the ground,
my planet becomes so flowery;
The afternoon comes and the colors from the sky,
paint a colorful horizon;
Leaves, flowers, fruits mix
in this picture: 'Love and Perfection'.
Who is this divine farmer?
Is he the same author of the painting, then?
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
Conclusion of my thoughts.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
In all this is the hand of God.
When night comes, I look at the sky,
the stars shine in the infinite;
I see the clear moon over the sea.
And at that moment I reflect:
A supreme being exists in all this!
God, the greatest light, the explanation!
Everything comes from his divine hands:
The sky, the earth, the sea, life.
So:
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Conclusion of my thoughts.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
In all this is the hand of God. (4x)
