Inquilino do Universo

Universe Tenant
I don't want anything for tomorrow
I want everything now
I know death is treacherous
It arrives without saying the hour
I don't want anything for tomorrow
I want everything now
I know death is treacherous
It arrives without saying the hour
I already pay for this ground to walk on
I pay for the water to drink
I even pay to smile
I know I paid to be born
I pay for success and pay for failure
The ascent and the descent
I pay to live, but I'm not the owner of life
I have to continue my journey
I pay for everything, I'm not the owner of anything
Nature generates and creates me
But then feeds on me
In old age's arrival
When everything comes to an end
I'm a priest without a parish
A product without a market
I become a child again waiting for the call
To lend a hand to death and bid life farewell
I pay a high price for my farewell
I travel covered in flowers
A journey with no return
Because I am and who is not a tenant of the universe
