Deus Dos Impossiveis

When I think of the thorns of Jesus' crown
In all the suffering endured there on the cross
Once again the enemy was defeated by God
What an example of victory, humility, and love

I have complete confidence in this redeeming friend
Who came from heaven to die in my place
I ask him to help me choose what is best
And may heaven be the reward of this bond of love

There is no struggle without victory, no insurmountable barriers
For if I am with the king of kings, I am with the God of the impossible
With him I will do wonders, I will be a winner
For I have the assurance
I have Christ the savior

I want to strengthen my faith in my day-to-day life
And be victorious as my Jesus is
To prove humanity that there is a God in heaven
Interceding for all of us and who will soon return

But sometimes a wave of problems comes
I distance myself from God and lose direction
May I gradually return to the light
That leads me to heaven with firm steps with Jesus
