You Will Have a Place
It's late, almost night, Christ and his disciples there
The bread and wine on the table were shared among brothers
After the holy supper, they went to the mountain with Jesus
The scene of Calvary, about to take its place
And the master told them he had to leave, they could hardly believe
He said: Where I am going, I cannot take you but
I promise I will prepare a place for you
Do not let your hearts be troubled, believe in God and in me (believe in me)
When I go and come back here, in heaven you will have a place
In heaven you will have a place
Little children, a little longer, I must be with you to pray
The time has come, I must go now and surrender myself
Fulfilling the prophecy and glorifying our God
I give my life for humanity to be saved
When Jesus spoke like this, they were filled with fear
What will we do without our Lord?
