Vida No Campo

Life in the Countryside
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
I arrive at the farm and feel happy
No pollution to irritate my nose
I look at the sky and thank the creator to whom I belong
This is the life I always wanted
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
I go to sleep early but don't miss the moonlight
And the next day I wake up to work
And the rooster has already crowed, the mist has settled
And the crops await me to irrigate
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
I plant potatoes to eat with rosemary
I keep the mint tea close to me
The banana tree is in clusters, the corn is flourishing
And the children are harvesting peanuts
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
And when friends come to visit me
I make a bonfire, put the corn to roast
The guitar and singing fill with joy
The environment I love to share
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
In the early morning when I wake up to pray
The silence is so dense, almost touchable
I hear God's voice so clear speaking in His word
And I thank for having this place
Life in the countryside, every day is like this
Life in the countryside, God smiling at me
Every day is like this, God smiling at me
Every day is like this, God smiling at me
