I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne
And the edges of His robe filled the temple

The seraphim were above Him and each had 6 wings,
With two they covered their faces
With two they covered their feet
And with two they flew

And they called to one another saying:
- Holy! Holy! Holy is the Lord of hosts,
The whole earth is full of His glory.

The thresholds of the doors moved at the voice of him who called
And the house was filled with smoke

Then I said:
- Woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips
and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.

And my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

But one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand
a live coal which he had taken with tongs from the altar,
He touched my mouth with it and said:
- See, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away
and your sin is purged.

After that I heard the voice of the Lord saying:
- Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

Then I said:
- Here am I! Send me.
