Paixões Secretas
Rodrigo Costa Félix
Secret Passions
If verses survive the poets
And the souls that screamed them like crazy
Why is it that in passions, no matter how secret
Kisses do not survive the mouths?
Kisses are the verses that lovers
Recite, when the nights are eternal
Words without vowels or consonants
That drip in the sweat of our legs
I will be a poet, yes! oh my muse
Poet of silence and desire
And if eternity denies us
I will be eternal in you, in every kiss
I don't want more songs! I want your lips
Open for mine, with such magic
That our hearts become wiser
And kisses survive the poetry
