The Empty Bed
I woke up in the morning, trembling with cold, and discovered that by my side, the bed was empty, and flickering on your pillow, there was a written paper, where it said, My God, what I least expected.
That the love and passion, that I professed for you, only bothered you, and was not reciprocated. I didn't want to cry, I preferred to avoid the cold, invading the warmth, that you left beside me.
I loved you in that bed, I lived in that bed, if your warmth leaves me, I am willing to die. I will never go out to look for you, if you return you will find me, drunk here for you.
I loved you in that bed, I believed in that bed, in the moments of love that you managed to fake, if you were able to deceive me, it was because I wanted it that way, I am still drunk for you.
I woke up in the morning, your place was empty. But I still felt the warmth, of your body next to mine. Now I embrace your pillow, your perfume has invaded me, and I even hear words of love, that you whispered to me, in my ear.
I loved you in that bed, I lived in that bed, if your warmth leaves me, I am willing to die. I will never go out to look for you, if you return you will find me, drunk here for you.
I loved you in that bed, I believed in that bed, in the moments of love that you managed to fake, if you were able to deceive me, it was because I wanted it that way, I am still crying for you.
