The version cited is that of Chicho Sánchez Ferlosio, released on the album "Spanska motståndssånger" (Spanish resistance songs) by the Swedish label Clarté, from 1964.

Both Rolando Alarcón and Quilapayún omit the verses marked in parentheses. Quilapayún, in addition, maintains in the last repetition of the chorus the original version "against those who drown the people in their hands", while Chicho and Rolando sing "against those who drown Spain in their hands".
