Lázaro, o Amigo Especial

Lazarus, the Special Friend
The days passed and still no sign of Jesus arriving
An uneasiness
Took over Bethany, city of a beloved friend
They ask: Where is he? We can't wait any longer
Let's take the body to the tomb
Your friend won't come anymore
Martha and Mary, after the burial
Still crying for not understanding
Why Jesus Christ did this to him
Letting a sick friend die
Did He not get the message?
Was He persuaded not to come?
Did He not care about the friend anymore?
Will He, will He, will He?
Jesus arrives changing all the questioning
Silencing those who only know how to murmur
He knows that death cannot stay
If He arrives, hell must retreat
He calls the friend by name: Faithful
He wants the media to witness
To prove that only He can make the impossible happen
I bring down, I exalt, I do as I please
I don't arrive when you expect
I change the time, I change the story
I do, undo, I am the Lord
I break any protocol, I am the medicine
I enter and change the verdict in any court
I reduce the planet to a grain of sand
The faithful friend to me is more than special
I am a friend in uncertain times
I am a friend and prove who I am
I am a friend and do not abandon
I am a friend, I am the Lord
I bring down, I exalt, I do as I please
I don't arrive when you expect
I change the time, I change the story
I do, undo, I am the Lord
I break any protocol, I am the medicine
I enter and change the verdict in any court
I reduce the planet to a grain of sand
The faithful friend to me is more than special
I am a friend in uncertain times
I am a friend and prove who I am
I am a friend and do not abandon
I am a friend, I am the Lord
Lazarus, come out
