A Fornalha
Rozeane Ribeiro
The Furnace
You say there is only one God
And only to Him should you worship and surrender
But when you see the furnace, you tremble
When you are in trial,
You can't kneel,
Before the living God
And seek help elsewhere
Forget that God will not share
His glory with anyone
The furnace may come, the fire may come
But I won't surrender to another god
I am sure the fourth man
Will come, when the music plays
I won't kneel
Because I know my God will deliver me
The furnace does not kill
Does not end, does not destroy
Does not exterminate, does not burn
Does not silence our voice
God sends the fourth man to deliver
And inside the furnace He will walk
And not a hair on his head will burn
Worship the God of Shadrach
Worship the God of Meshach
Worship the God of Abednego
Worship the God of gods
Worship God in water and fire
Worship God, do not worship another
Worship with your hands if your voice is silent
Worship with your feet if your hands are tied
Worship by prostrating
Worship by kneeling
Worship by humbling yourself
Worship by surrendering
Worship seated
Worship standing
Worship glorifying
Worship the great God
God is pleased only with those who worship Him
And with you inside the fire, He will enter if you worship Him
Worship only Him, do not bow to another God
Even if life has to be given
God will not let the fire burn you
He sends the fourth man to deliver
In the furnace, you will sing the victory hymn
