Cavalo à Solta
Rua da Saudade
Horse on the Loose
My bitter and sweet orange, my poem
Made of segments of longing, my pen
Heavy and light, secret and pure
My passage to the brief, brief moment of madness
My boldness, my gallop, my rein
My crazy colt, my flame, my spark
Of intense light, that then tightens
My denunciation, and what it thinks it feels certain
In you I breathe, in you I search
Through you I find this strength anew
In you I pursue, in you I traverse
Horse on the loose along the edge of your body
My joy, my bitterness
My courage to run against tenderness
My bitter and sweet orange, my sword
Poem made of two segments, all or nothing
For you I renounce, for you I accept
This steed that I can't calm parading in my chest
That's why I say, song of punishment
Almond locks body soul, lover, friend
That's why I sing, that's why I say
Porch house, bed, chest of my wheat
My joy, my bitterness
My courage to run against tenderness
My boldness, my adventure
My courage to run against tenderness
My joy, my bitterness
My courage to run against tenderness
My boldness, my adventure
My courage to run against tenderness
