Huella de Los Malones (Huella)
Ruben Alberto Benegas
Trail of the Malones (Trail)
Before the day clears up
The Indian begins to stun the pampas with his roar
And in any dawn without us feeling anything
They would start to invade
To raid the best fleet they seek
And as it is a sure weapon they come with just the spear
And several pairs of bolas
Tied to the waist
That's why you may have seen if you have found yourself in that situation
And if you haven't observed it, always keep it in mind
That every brave pampa
Is always well mounted
The rheas shoot
The weeds tremble
A dust cloud is seen
From the watchtower
The storm is wild
It's coming fierce
And the downpour of spears
Is already unleashed
Where the Indians passed
The trail remained
Of those who defended
Their own land
Of the Malones
Forever nailed
In the hearts
Lalala lar araira
Lala laraira
Forever nailed
In the hearts
The air has been filled
With bolas
And the fire devours
The ranches
On their spirited steeds
On their haunches
They take away the unfaithful
White women
Where the Indians passed
The trail remained
Of those who defended
Their own land
Of the Malones
Forever nailed
In the hearts
Lalala lar araira
Lala laraira
Forever nailed
In the hearts
