Mal Tiempo (Triunfo)
Ruben Alberto Benegas
Bad Weather (Triumph)
A dark cloud
Cuts a piece out of the sky
While on the northern side
The dawn yawns
A thunder rumbles and scares away
A flock of birds
And the ovenbirds chirp
Predicting the storm
How gray the sky has turned
The rain watering the ground
Bringing relief to the crops
A crack opens up
The wind plays a tune
Making the fences groan
The storm has started
Without a moment's rest
And in its rush of wind
It makes the willows creak
The water in the ravines
Overflows the basins
And the frogs make noise
Bothering the crickets
The wind moaning outside
Waiting for a door to open
To sneak into the houses
And the people in the sheds
Are watching over roosters
In the glow of embers
