Sebastian
In every neighborhood, there is at least one crazy person.
The one in ours was called 'Sebastian'.
He washed cars and did a bit of everything,
To earn his bread.
'Sebastian' had an imaginary girlfriend,
And he argued with her incessantly.
He tied a ragged cape around his neck
And running through the streets, we heard him shout:
'Sebastian, if you want to conquer me,
Only the stars will be enough;
Only the stars will be enough'.
In every crazy person, there is at least one dream.
Being loved was 'Sebastian's' ideal.
With paper, tin, cardboard, and a lot of effort,
He began his plan.
Hallucinating with love, relentless,
He created the largest spaceship,
To leave with his girlfriend,
'From our shitty neighborhood to the sidereal world'.
In every dream, there is at least one drama,
And 'Sebastian' got entangled in anguish.
One night, when he was talking to the sky,
He saw a light cross the horizon.
Happily he shouted, - 'Wait for me' -
And I saw him run, throwing himself into the sea,
Trying to regain that flash,
Because 'only the stars will be enough;
Only the stars will be enough!'
On the dirty sand of the market beach,
There is a pod that looks like a projectile.
From its wings hangs a cape of rags;
From its shadow, an endless loneliness.
His imaginary girlfriend still waits for him.
At night, she stands guard, facing the sea.
No one will conquer her.
She will not give herself to any other illusion,
Faithful to the crazy man who gave her eternity,
Because only the stars will be enough.
Only the stars will be enough:
Only the stars will be enough!
