Swap Meet
The world has always been and will be a piece of crap
I know it
In fifteen-six
And in two thousand as well
There have always been thieves
Schemers and swindled
Happy and bitter
Values and double-cross
But the twentieth century
Is a display of insolent evil
No one can deny it
We live rolling around in a mess
And in the same mud
Everyone gets their hands dirty
Today it turns out that it's the same to be honest as a traitor
Ignorant, wise, thief, generous or swindler
Everything is the same, nothing is better
The same a donkey as a great professor
There are no failures or hierarchy
The immoral have made us all the same
If one lives in deceit
And another steals in their ambition
It's the same whether they're a priest
Mattress maker, king of clubs
Hard-faced or stowaway
But what a lack of respect
What an outrage to reason
Anyone is a gentleman, anyone is a thief
Mixed with Stravinsky, there goes Don Bosco and the swindler
Don Chicho and Napoleon, Carrera and San Martin
Just like in the disrespectful display window of the swap meet
Life has been mixed
And wounded by a sword without a hilt
You see the Bible crying against a water heater
Twentieth century problematic and feverish swap meet
He who doesn't cry doesn't get fed and he who doesn't hustle is a fool
Just keep going, keep going
Because we'll all end up in the oven
Don't think anymore, sit on the side
Because no one cares if you were born honest
It's the same the one who works night and day like an ox
As the one who lives off others, the one who kills
The one who heals or is outside the law
