Confesión a Dios

Lord Jesus
I come to confess humbly to you
The deeds that I consciously
And by my own will committed
It was me, Lord
That in the darkness of that night
Cowardly gave you that lash
And repeatedly hurt you
It was me, Lord
That with my own hands actually
Collected thorns out of cruelty
And built that vile crown
It was me, Lord
After subjecting you to such torment
I sought those nails and the hammer
And without remorse lifted you on the cross
I know, Lord
That every time I fall into sin
I am again
Nailing your hands to the cross
And I also know
That many times I have rejected you
And said no
To the offer of forgiveness you make me
My Father
For a long time I have anxiously tried
To break free from this vicious circle
In which my life got entangled
So Lord
I come to ask you humbly
To completely change my being
And make your life be reborn in me
Forgive me
For all that I have done to you year after year
And cast into the depths of the ocean
The suffering and the pain
That I caused you
