Pray for Me
I came from the Correia neighborhood, from an early age I had to walk on my own feet
I learned that not everything in life is based on what you see
I was lucky to grow up with humility, that is not learned with bottles or cash
It was in the family that I saw all the truth, the price of respect cannot be compared to goods
And my mom, with love, took care of her 3 children
I know it was difficult without having our dad, until today I don't know where you got the strength
All this fame is the result of prayers by the bedside
Of sleepless nights, praying to the Most High
To take care of the son while she slept
So
Before you judge me, remember that someone prays for me
Before you point fingers, don't forget that you are also here
It's very easy to just criticize without living what I lived
You don't know a book without reading it, so here's a bit of me
Because no one here was born made of iron
I still have a lot to learn from mistakes
But when you go to bed, mom
Sleep peacefully, I'm fine, mom
I just hope that my life doesn't keep me away from you
And that you forgive every time I failed or lied
Victory makes no sense if you're not proud of me (woh oh)
I continue to give respect, be kind, just as you taught me before
And I also hope that my daughter is proud of the father you raised
So your shot in the dark only makes me mature
And you don't even think that the poison you distill leaves me insecure (the man)
That when you offend, an educated man laughs
Know that I also pray for you
Before you judge me, remember that someone prays for me
Before you point fingers, don't forget that you are also here
It's very easy to just criticize without living what I lived
You don't know a book without reading it, so here's a bit of me
