When descending from the heavens, for His Jesus to return
And God's trumpet to proclaim to all
That the great day of my King's victory has come

The Lamb they sacrificed on the cross
Nations will then see the splendor of the great King

Rejected by the world was Jesus, my Savior
They scorned, insulted my Lord
But the day of my King's victory will come magnificently

I have nothing in myself to trust
But Jesus on the cross wanted to save me
