Jesus, o Sol e o Reggae

Today I woke up to see the sunrise
I looked for the best place
It was a deck by the lagoon
Surrounded by little boats and seagulls in the air
In front of me there was a hill
I waited for the Sun to rise
I waited, waited, and nothing
There were only gray clouds
I waited, waited, started to think
About what the King wanted to say
It was the voice of my King
I started to listen
My child, don't let the cloud deceive you

It may even rain, and I may not see the Sun
But beyond the clouds I know He is there
Not everything is seen
But I know Christ lives and we must believe
