The Bellringer
Arriving at the church Fausto Peña died
In front of everyone he fell from a gunshot
A precise bullet hit the door
Prevented him from getting married, what a sad failure.
He fell face up, spoke and said to them
May God forgive me and take me to heaven
They shot me from up there from the tower
I saw with my own eyes that it was the bellringer.
And the bellringer from above shouted
Dying of rage with a very furious voice
Ask Fausto why I killed him
He knows that last night I found him with my wife.
Fausto Peña spoke and told them very clearly
I confess it's true, she was my lover
I ask the judges to forgive that man
And I beg you to pray for my soul.
From above, shots from another gun were heard
The priest and the people ran up
They saw the bride shooting herself
After killing the bellringer.
Arriving at the church Fausto Peña died
And up in the tower his precious bride
Killed the bellringer and condemns no one
For he had killed his wife in the ferris wheel.
