Por Orgullo

Out of Pride
Her gaze reflected longing and immense pain.
Her forced smile and her hand saying goodbye.
And two tears bathing her beautiful cheeks,
And she left, she left.
I stood there like a fool watching her walk away.
I wanted to speak to her, ask for forgiveness, but I lacked courage.
And an inner knot tore my wounded soul,
I lacked courage, my voice trembled.
Today time has passed since that evening,
When I lost her love.
And in my loneliness, the remorse,
Hurts more and more.
It's unfair to lose out of pride,
The greatest thing that was so yours.
It's unfair to lose out of pride, happiness.
