F Comme Femme
Salvatore Adamo
F Like Woman
She bloomed one beautiful morning
In the sad garden of my heart
She had the eyes of destiny
Did she resemble my happiness?
Or did she resemble my soul?
I picked her, she was a woman
Woman with a pink F, F like flower
She changed my universe
My life was completely enchanted
Poetry sang in the air
I had a dollhouse
And in my heart burned my flame
Everything was beautiful, everything was woman
Woman with a magical F, F like fairy
She chained me a hundred times a day
To the sweet post of her tenderness
My chains were woven with love
I was a martyr to her caresses
I was happy, was I infamous?
But I loved her, she was a woman
One day the timid and frail bird
Came to talk to me about freedom
She tore off its wings
The bird died with the summer
And that day was the drama
And despite everything she was a woman
But Woman with a completely gray F, fate
At the hour of truth
There was a woman and a child
That child that I had remained
Against life, against time
I nestled in my soul
And I understood that she was a woman
But woman with a winged F, get the hell out
