If You Can Tell Him
He went to a better place and I accept that
I can't question you, he's in your lap
I can't help but remember him and miss him
But he went to rest in the arms of the Father
But knowing he's not here anymore hurts so much
It's okay to remember when he was by my side
And at the same time feel a peace in which I rest
Because it's your will that I have accepted
If you can tell him I always love him, that we will be together in the same home
That I would give anything to have him close and hug him again
But I know that very soon we will meet again
If you can tell him, that we will walk on the streets of gold and the Sea of Glass
We will enjoy in the dwelling place you prepared
And there where no one can separate us
If you can tell him that I thank heaven for the strength that only you give me
