Cuatro Estrofas
Sandra Mihanovich
Four Stanzas
I have no more disguises to act
I have no more words to not cry
I have no more smiles to draw
So much happiness that I no longer have.
I have no more poems to recite
Nor melodies to improvise
I have no more fantasies to dream
A little more, a little more.
I have no more pockets to empty
I have no more places to escape
And now I am much lonelier than in my previous song
Inside me memories.
I have no more stanzas to invent
I don't care if it doesn't rhyme or if I sing off-key
Just a little more strength to imagine
In this same place to be together again
