I was born among mountains
Among fabrics of earth, air, and water
And fire, fearless words
Like that dancer in the corner of the universe

I am a corn kernel in the furrow of time
Planted in a womb, in a womb of clay
With dew and Sun's song

Like my grandmothers with their warrior souls
Like the earth, I have brown skin
I am an indigenous woman, granddaughter of the Moon
This is my strength

My life is like a fabric
One by one, the threads form the canvas
Thus, our paths are, they do not come alone
Grandmothers with white hair and wise thoughts guide and accompany us

I am like a mountain
My grandmothers planted courage in my soul
In my body, in my skin, in my gaze
That's why I'm not afraid, I won't be silent
Because my voice is a birth of fire
My being holds the memory
And this is my origin

I carry in my path, in my womb
The history of my grandmother, mother, and sisters
Fearlessly against the system we resist
We reaffirm ourselves
Here we will continue to rise!
