Deus Vai Me Sustentar
Sara Evelyn
God Will Sustain Me
Sometimes I am at war, but I have to sing
Sometimes I want to listen, but God uses me to speak
There are days when my chest tightens, I just feel like crying
But I haven't given up, I'll go all the way, I'll get there soon
I am a human being full of flaws
But God is perfect and will help me
I have my conflicts, mistakes, and successes
But there is a promise, I can't stop
God will sustain me
Those who see me singing don't understand the pain
And the wars I have to face
Because many times what I sing is to help someone rise
But I confess, I'm not always okay
And yet I will prophesy
That my today means nothing compared to what God will do
I am a human being full of flaws
But God is perfect and will help me
I have my conflicts, mistakes, and successes
But there is a promise, I can't stop
God will sustain me
Those who see me singing don't understand the pain
And the wars I have to face
Because many times what I sing is to help someone rise
But I confess, I'm not always okay
And yet I will prophesy
That my today means nothing compared to what God will do
Who is like my God? No, there isn't
He already knows everything I need without me having to speak
Who is like my God? No, there isn't
If He allowed it, it's because He saw that I could bear it
Who is like my God? No, there isn't
He already knows everything I need without me having to speak
Who is like my God? No, there isn't
If He allowed it, it's because He saw that I could bear it
Those who see me singing don't understand the pain
And the wars I have to face
Because many times what I sing is to help someone rise
But I confess, I'm not always okay
And yet I will prophesy
That my today means nothing compared to what God will do
What God will do, what God will do
