Camp Song

Although the Sun burns with its rays
Although the rain falls incessantly
Although the wind blows like a hurricane
And makes our walk painful

It is the pride of every guide
To always be ready to serve
And even though we have difficulties
The law commands us to sing and laugh

Our life in the Camp
Is the teacher of deprivations
A tent, a modest bathroom
Little food and many dreams

The mat placed on the ground
Is our bed to sleep
But it doesn't matter, because to the guide
The law commands to sing and laugh

We must chop wood for the fire
Bring water from the spring
While some cook the food
Others turn the tent into a home

And when the Sun reaches its sunset
Our bonfire will gather us
And at the first sparks of its fire
All sadness will be forgotten
