Poets
Who’s to blame for all this injustice
Who’s to blame for all this evil
All the cruel makers of bloody weapons
All the shovel-wielders allied with big Babylon
Towns exploited by the powerful
Barefoot children dying without food, without shelter
Men losing their land without knowing why
Mothers crying for the absence of lost children
Poets with bloody hands, dark gazes, and fake laughs
Pirates rotting the seas of crystal-clear waters
Lions devouring flesh while still in the nest
Men testing rockets on suffering lands
Scum, greedy, with bad intentions
Today on this earth, it bothers those who think of peace
Men losing their lives at the hands of darkness
Children on this earth without a father’s name
Mothers crying for their children when death comes
No, no!! I can’t imagine that we can’t change anything
It’s a fight to live in justice and dignity
I can’t imagine that everything is forever frozen
I want to live my destiny, pushing aside fate
I fight for words to break free from their prison
It’s my battle for minds to regain reason
Because watch out, watch out, the more the pressure, the louder the explosions.
