When you were taken captive from Zion
And your priests wept in affliction
It was like dying of shame and pain
The strong people of the Lord walked sadly
Oh Jerusalem, why did you stop worshipping
To the living God who helped you in so many battles?
Cry, Israel, lift up your voice to Him
Perhaps God will remember Jacob's worm
Israel cries
Babylon is not your place
Cry out to your God, he will hear you
He will deliver you from the enemy
