Mil Ilusiones
Shaila
A Thousand Illusions
Why force reality
Making yourself believe in the possibility
Of normalcy's existence
When in the end, no one can say
That the end is being happy and that’s what’s normal
Where no one can imagine
Fear of knowing is judged, of seeming from another place
Who needs to be normal where no one is real anymore
A thousand illusions that seem like fate
And where is the truth
When the everyday starts to feel so surreal?
And without even looking for it, I found
The misery of knowing myself in discontent
Of someone who longs to reach for something more
And it’s normal to seem abnormal
That something there will make me happy even if it’s unreal
Because no one wants to imagine
Fear of knowing is judged, of seeming from another place
Who needs to be normal where no one is real anymore
A thousand illusions that seem like fate
And where is the truth
When the everyday starts to feel so surreal?
