Progressing
The technocracy is so residual, it makes us one in society
And it’s as real as the selfishness that makes us move
Is that what it means to progress?
Or maybe it’s the perfect excuse not to understand what humanity is
Dreaming of a future without identity and in masses
Is living exclusion in morality for the sake of improvement
Legitimizing opportunities that the system claims to assign
Is reviving the prayer to progress to sanctify an ancestral pact
The false idea of evolving
The scam of wanting to believe, watching a future dawn with faith in seeing
Making ambition able to colonize your soul
And thus creating automatons who think it’s normal to progress
And here we go, not knowing why we need to arrive
And in the inertia, I feel myself falling, I could never understand
How in so much misery one can believe
Reason and progress seem to want
To globalize stupidity with faith in seeing
Making ambition able to colonize your soul
And thus creating automatons who think it’s normal to progress
