Octavo Día

Eighth Day
On the eighth day, God, after so much work
To release tensions after reviewing
He said: Everything is very good, it's time to rest
And went for a walk in outer space
Who would have imagined that God himself upon returning
Would find everything in a hellish mess
And that he would become just another unemployed
From the rate that is growing incessantly
Since then, some have seen him
Only in the streets, walking
He waits patiently for someone
With whom, at least calmly, he can talk
Meanwhile, this world spins and spins
Without being able to stop it
And down here, a few manage us
Like chess pieces
I'm not the kind of idiot who lets himself be convinced
But I tell the truth
And even a blind man can see it
If due to lack of occupation or excessive loneliness
God couldn't resist anymore and left for another place
It would be our downfall, there would be no other remedy
Than to worship Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton, or Tarzan
It's harder to be a king without a crown
Than a more normal person
Poor God who doesn't appear in magazines
Is not a model or artist, or from a royal family
Meanwhile, this world spins and spins
Without being able to stop it
And down here, a few manage us
Like chess pieces
I'm not the kind of idiot who lets himself be convinced
But I tell the truth
And even a blind man can see it
Meanwhile, this world spins and spins
Without being able to stop it
And down here, a few manage us
Like chess pieces
I'm not the kind of idiot who lets himself be convinced
But I tell the truth
And even a blind man can see it
