Mi Refugio

I walked not knowing where to go, like a robot I wandered
Around, confused and so empty in my pain, breathless,
Without courage, and in the middle of nowhere, I saw the
Light in your eyes that reached deep into my soul.

Reflection. You are my refuge, my strength, and my truth
Because I trust in you, I know deep inside that you’re
By my side, it was the grace of your love that found me,
And like a star, the purest and most beautiful, you lit up everything.

You are my refuge.
Now I find in your words my reason, no longer is there
A shadow of fear in me, I imagine forever

My peace, my breath, and my best song, and the bluest
