They were gathered after Jesus had been buried
They were surprised when the Savior appeared among them
The joy was so great that they even doubted it was Jesus
Who died crowned for our sins, nailed to the cross
He ate a piece of roasted fish and a honeycomb
He blessed his disciples and was received up in heaven
They were perplexed by what was happening, looking up
Two angels dressed in white appeared and spoke thus
Galilean men, why do you look up? This Jesus whom you saw going up to heaven
Will return one day just as He left
