The Chalice
When the pains of life hurt your soul
And every day the struggles erase your Faith
The sea is rough and the waves want to drown you
And all the doors closed for you
It seems that God does not hear your lament
And sometimes you think about abandoning your cross
And you start to think that you are the only one who has felt this way
The bitter cup you drink will come to an end
Know that God has looked at your suffering
Your lament has reached the Throne of the Lord
God has been by your side all the time, in times of anguish, in times of pain
Know this: There is no trial that lasts forever
And after the storm, the sun will shine
For there is no fight that lasts forever
It is God who guarantees you: Victory will come
