When the pains of life hurt your soul
And every day the struggles dim your Faith
The sea rages tumultuous and the waves trying to drown you
And all doors have closed for you
It seems like God doesn't hear your lament
And sometimes you think about abandoning your cross
And you even think you're the only one feeling this way
The bitter chalice you drink will come to an end
Know that God has seen your suffering
Your lament has reached the Throne of the Lord
God has been by your side all the time, in times of anguish, in times of pain
Know: there is no trial that lasts forever
And after the storm, the sun will shine
For there is no struggle that lasts all the time
It is God who assures you: Victory will come
