In Fervent Prayer
In fervent prayer, comes your heart
To pour out in the presence of God!
But you can only enjoy what you're asking for
When you leave everything at the Altar
When everything is before the Lord
And all your being He controls
Only then will you see that the Lord has power
When you leave everything at the Altar
The Lord will do wonders of love for you
Attending the prayer He accepts
His immense power will come to help you
When you leave everything at the Altar
If you pray, however, without your heart
To have the peace that the Lord can give
It was because God didn't feel that your soul opened
Leaving everything, everything, at the Altar
