Ismael e Agar

Ishmael and Hagar
The day hadn’t even broken yet
It was still so early, no options left to get
A woman with nowhere to go
Desperate with her child, she moved slow
Through the scorching sun of the desert land
She saw up close the pain, the demand
When it all seemed like the end
For Hagar and Ishmael in that pain they’d send
God was watching from the high above
And in that moment, the angel called out with love
Why are you crying, Hagar? God has seen your plight
He heard your son’s cries, He’s listening tonight
Victory is coming, you’re gonna make it through
Never give up, because God will come through
If the trouble you’re facing feels so damn big
And the thirst in the desert is making you dig
In this desert of life, God won’t leave you alone
Look how God acted with Ishmael and Hagar, shown
When the water in your skin ran dry and bare
A spring of water in the desert, God made it flare
So why stop now? Just keep moving ahead
The God you serve is always there instead
He walks with you, wherever you roam
He was with Paul and Silas locked in that cell
With Moses, He parted the sea, oh so well
That victory is guaranteed by His strong hand, you can tell.
